Mt. Olive is dedicated to providing excellent in a number of areas within the church, and it takes people to do that  Here are some of the people who help carry out the vision of the church

  • Kurt Brubaker - Senior Pastor

    Kurt Brubaker became the Senior Pastor at Mt. Olive Missionary Church in February 2022. He has recently served a rural church in Iowa. That church was part of the Evangelical Free Church of America. He also served a small church in St. Louis as a bi-vocational (volunteer) associate pastor. Pastoral Ministry is a second career for Pastor Kurt. He has served a short time in the U.S. Navy and worked in the automotive industry.


    Kurt has been married to his wife Pam since 1996. They have three grown sons (Zach, AJ, and Austin) and one grandson (Carson). Kurt and Pam also have two friendly Labradors named Diesel.


    Hometown: Peoria, IL


    Pastor Kurt has a Bachelor's of Art from Missouri Baptist University and a Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO.

  • sarah j noar - Administrative assistant

    Sarah has been the administrative assistant at Mt. Olive since February 2024. Although new to Mt. Olive, she is looking forward to building relationships with its church body and seeing how God uses her to serve alongside its people.

     

    Youngest of nine, Sarah lives with her father, Rich, two brothers, Tim and Chip, her cat, Willow, and rabbit, Ronin. She is pursuing a degree in Linguistics, English Education and intends to teach English in Japan.

  • Brett Pierce - Worship Leader

    Brett became the Worship Leader at Mount Olive in July of 2024. He brings over 20 years of worship music experience to Mount Olive and is excited to be a part of the church body here and looking forward to seeing all that God has in store.
    Brett has a daughter that is 15 yrs old. (Grace)
